History

Committed to the heritage of Peru

The Gold Symposium was born in 1994 with the purpose of showcasing the opportunities that mining activity in Peru provided, especially with a vision of becoming an investment destination for the world.

Due to the success of its first edition, the Gold Committee of the SNMPE (National Society of Mining, Petroleum, and Energy) has decided to continue organizing it every two years, with the support of the Ministry of Energy and Mines of Peru, the World Gold Council, the Silver Institute, among other institutions, and with the sponsorship of prestigious companies.
