Juan Artigas
Regional CEO for Americas & Global Head of Research de World Gold Council
Juan Carlos Artigas serves as the regional CEO for the Americas and Global Head of Research for the World Gold Council (WGC), and is also a member of the Management Committee. He joined the WGC in 2009 and leads the strategy across the region, focusing on enhancing understanding, access and trust in gold. He and the research team develop timely insights on gold demand, supply, drivers of performance and the role of gold in portfolios. Previously, Juan Carlos worked at JPMorgan Securities as a US and Emerging Markets fixed income strategist. Juan Carlos holds a BS in Actuarial Sciences from ITAM (Mexico) and an MBA and MS in Statistics from the University of Chicago.
