Mariana Abugattás
Country Manager Peru at Teck Resources
Mariana has more than 20 years of experience in the mining industry. She currently serves as Country Manager of Teck Peru. Previously, she led the Regional Corporate Affairs and Sustainability Management division at Glencore and served as Government Affairs, Sustainability, and Communications Manager at Anglo American Quellaveco. Mariana holds a Law degree from the University of Lima and a Diploma in Mining Management from the GERENS Graduate School. She describes herself as a professional deeply committed to sustainability and to the positive impact that responsible mining can generate in improving people’s quality of life and contributing to the development of Peru, aligned with Teck’s purpose to provide essential resources to the world.
