Leandro García
General Manager of the Huancavelica Energy Consortium (CONENHUA) and Director of Sociedad Minera El Brocal, Compañía Minera Condesa, and Empresa de Generación Huanza
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Accounting from the Universidad del Pacífico and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Miami, Florida, USA. He completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School in 2017. His career at Buenaventura began from 1990 to 1997 as Head of Treasury. He served as Finance Manager at Sociedad Minera El Brocal from 1997 to 2000. He rejoined the company as General Controller in July 2011. Subsequently, he served as Vice President of Finance and Administration until August 2020 and is currently CEO and General Manager. He has also served as General Manager of Boticas BTL and General Manager of Boticas Inkafarma. Additionally, he was a director at Química Suiza Retail, the business that managed the Boticas MiFarma chain. He is also General Manager of the Huancavelica Energy Consortium (CONENHUA) and Director of Sociedad Minera El Brocal, Compañía Minera Condesa, and Empresa de Generación Huanza.
