Diego Ortega

With a well-known national and international career spanning over 20 years in mining companies and business associations, Diego Ortega is a leading figure in the Peruvian mining sector due to his multidisciplinary experience and leadership in ESG strategy for national development. He holds a law degree from Universidad de Lima, with Master’s degrees in International Law from Duke University and Advanced Management from Harvard University. He has held senior positions in law firms and companies such as MMG, Gold Fields, and Rio Tinto. He currently serves as Vice President of Corporate Affairs and Sustainability for Anglo American in Peru.
