Jane Anttila
Head of the Technical Mission in Peru, Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights
Jane Anttila holds a Master's degree in Human Rights and Democratization from the European Inter-University Centre (EIUC) and has over 20 years of professional experience in human rights. She has worked with the United Nations in the Office of the Secretary-General (2014–2017), at the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights in the Occupied Palestinian Territory (2017–2023), and on the monitoring of the human rights situation in Belarus (2023–2024). Prior to joining the UN, she worked as a human rights and rule of law adviser for the European Union in Afghanistan, Brussels and Geneva, and for the Permanent Mission of Finland to the UN in New York. She began her international career at the Embassy of Finland in Peru in 2000–2001.
