Erik Heimlich is Head of Copper and Zinc Markets at CRU Group, a leading global provider of market intelligence for the metals and mining industries. With more than 13 years at CRU, he has held senior analytical and leadership roles, specialising in analysing global market drivers and long-term trends in the mining and metals sector. He leads CRU's copper and zinc research team, integrating cross-commodity insights and structural industry shifts to inform strategic decision-making. Before joining CRU, Erik served as Coordinator of Economic Studies at Cochilco, Chile's governmental mining policy agency. He holds a Master's in Economics from the University of Essex.
