Antonio Cusato
World Bank's Country Economist for Peru
Antonio Cusato is the World Bank's Country Economist for Peru. Over the past two years, he has worked on the Bank's two flagship reports on economic growth and public finance in Peru. Previously, he was an Associate Professor in the Department of Economics at Universidad del Pacífico, a visiting researcher at the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, and worked at the IDB's Office of Evaluation and Oversight in Washington, DC. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Rutgers University in New Jersey, and has authored publications in journals such as the Journal of Macroeconomics, the Review of International Economics, and Economics Bulletin.
